Agility Classes Last summer we were able to introduce agility to Delaware County and surrounding areas. Our 6-week sessions were smashing successes, all with completely filled classes and waiting lists. In agility terms, our classes "Ran Clean and Ran Fast!" Everyone had a great time!
Our agility equipment is state of the art, offering currant regulation jump heights accepted at AKC, NADAC and USDAA trials.
Now all we need to know is if you will be joining us - and what days you're available to attend class!!
Please fill out this form below to help us fit you into one of our group classes. If you are interested in attending class - please fill out the form immediately, as classes fill quickly. We will then contact you as to your start date and send you your registration form to fill out. Next Session Starts as soon as the weather and grounds permit! We are hoping for early to middle spring, but classes will most certainly be up and running by late spring. Please keep checking in with us for updates. Beginner I and Beginner II Agility Classes will be offered. Day and evening classes will be scheduled. NOTE: Please call 607-538-9117 or email for more information. Class Descriptions: Beginner I Class: 6-Week Foundation Course Focus is on basic foundation skills, teamwork building, and having fun. Positive reinforcement training methods are used. Objectives include: Handler Pick-ups, low Dog Walk at 3', mini A-Frame, open and curved Tunnel, low Jumps, Tippy Board, Wobble Board and Ladder work. Dogs may move on to Beginner II when they delight in the above exercises.
Focus is on building upon the skills taught in Beginner I. Positive reinforcement training methods are used. Objectives include: Games with Handler Pick-ups, Inside and Outside Turns, Dog Walk at regulation height, A-Frame at regulation height, Chute, Sequencing and Obstacle independence, Pause Table, and Weave Poles: Off-set Channels. Dogs may move on to Intermediate when they understand and delight in the above exercises.
*Proof of your dog's current Rabies shots are required in order to attend all classes.
