Animal Haven's mobile adoption program enables us to travel throughout the greater New York area to hold site specific adoption events and bring the animals right to the public. This is an extremely successful program and our mobile events regularly result in the adoption of several pets. We usually bring 8 to 12 dogs along as well as 10-15 cats and kittens and take in many adoption applications right on-site. This shelter on wheels brings awareness of the pet overpopulation problem to multiple communities that would otherwise not go to a shelter. It is an great way to educate the public.

Corporate adoption events
Animal Haven would love to plan an adoption event sponsored by and/or run by your coworkers and staff. The event can be in-house for your company or for the public. O Magazine and the Times Square Business Improvement District held the first two of these events.
