Hey there world, my name is Hope! A kind woman found me dragging myself through her backyard and came to my assistance. She took me to her vet for an exam, where it was confirmed that I suffered some sort of an injury and my back legs and tail are paralyzed. I don’t let that stop me though, I scoot around and play just like any other kitten. I love people, attention, playtime and other cats. Yeah, I’m pretty cool! There are a few things you should know about me though.
Due to my injuries, I have some special needs. Since I’m paralyzed, I don’t know when I need to go to the bathroom and can not use a litter box. I try my best to keep things neat, but I do have accidents from time to time and need baths to keep me clean. That said, I can’t actually go to the bathroom on my own, so I need a bit of help from my human friends. My bladder and bowels need expressed a few times each day. It’s really easy to learn how to care for me (my adopter will get a full lesson from my care team) and I handle my bathroom assistance very well.
I really am a great little kitten who just needs someone to take a change on me. If you have a flexible schedule and are looking for a special kitty to love, come meet me today at Animal Haven.
