Hello, my name is Saga. I was originally saved from a South Korean dog meat farm during a massive rescue effort led by Humane Society International.
I’ve come a long way since I arrived in NYC. I had to learn how to receive love and affection because I had never been shown kindness before. It also took time for me to get used to simple things like wearing a collar, eating dog food, going out for walks, etc. I still don’t really enjoy being outdoors and prefer to play upstairs in the training room where I feel safe.
I am looking for a home with a patient family who can teach me how to be a dog. I’m on the shy side and can be easily spooked so my ideal home is generally quiet.
