Silvie

Age: 1 year
Sex: Female
Breed: DSH

Hello everyone! My name is Silvie, and I’m an amazing girl with a pretty sad backstory. When I was a stray, I was hit by a car, and taken in by someone who couldn’t afford to pay for surgery to fix my broken leg. Because of that, by bones fused improperly, so my wrist is perpetually bent. After my rescuer was evicted, I was dumped at a local shelter and then taken into Animal Haven by a concerned staff member. Now that I’m here, I’m doing great! Despite my sad past, I am not in any pain, and I somehow LOVE people. Whenever staff or volunteers come nearby, I start purring and walking around just waiting to be pet. I’m very soft and I love cuddles. In fact, despite my snaggletooth, I’m not scary at all! I’m incredibly gentle and I can’t wait to go home with someone. Although I would do best as the only cat in your home, I might get along with someone who is gentle and careful of my injury. The doctors are currently deciding what to do with my leg, but since I’m not in any pain right now, it’s staying as is for the time being. I was also tested positive for FIV, but am not showing any symptoms. I am currently expected to live a long time still since I will be an indoor cat moving forward. Do you have room in your heart for a sweet bundle of joy like me?
